SURFACE WATER MANAGEMENT

Surface water covers many areas including; storm water, wetlands, lakes, ponds, and streams, and intermittent ponds and streams.  Surface water is often associated with groundwater in some way.  If a surface water body is contaminated it may affect groundwater or other surface water bodies.

Management of surface water is essential to avoid storm water impacting lakes and streams, and eventualy groundwater.  Surface water is important to wildlife for habitat and cover as well as drinking water.

GeoHydro Visions, LC is in business to help agriculture, industry and business manage their storm water through proper diversion, retention/detention, permitting, and treatment if necessary.  GeoHydro Visions, LC will monitor surface water bodies for water quality, water level fluctuations and sedimentation.  In addition GeoHydro Visions, LC uses geographic information systems (GIS) to aid in visualizing a site's potential or change.
